［オークランド １２日 ロイター］ 環太平洋連携協定（ＴＰＰ）第１５回交渉会合をめぐり、各国の交渉官らは１２日、一定の進展があったとする一方、来年末までの合意に至るには長い道のりが待っていると述べた。
会合では１１カ国から集まった数百人の当局者が１週間強にわたり協議を行った。
ニュージーランドのデビッド・ウォーカー首席交渉官は、カナダとメキシコが交渉に加わり、文言や取引メカニズムに関して進展があったほか、知的財産権や環境、投資といった難しい問題をめぐり、必要なやるべきことを明確化できたと明らかにした。
首席交渉官は記者会見で「やるべき仕事がいっぱいある」とした上で、来年には合意したいというのが１１カ国共通の願いだと指摘。「各国首脳らが設定した目標に合致し、全ての参加国が受け入れ可能な全体的なパッケージの構築に向けて協議を続ける」と述べた。
合意については、公式の期限は設けられていないが、アジア太平洋経済協力会議（ＡＰＥＣ）首脳会議が開かれる時期に合わせ、来年１０月が目標とされている。
